I haven't seen Cards Against Humanity but when I saw the ad I thought, Apples to Apples. So if CAH can do it, I guess others can follow.

ETA: Which came first, CAH or ATA?

Apples to Apples came first.

Again, it's a spinoff of the same basic game format but with a completely different twist. You really can't compare. Sure, ATA introduced the concept of everyone playing a card that fits the "it" card and then "it" choosing the best match. But ATA is word associations and CAH is fill-in-the-blank/complete the sentence for a full idea. So really very different. Kichels game is like CAH but the change in content is significant. It's like saying that every follow-the-path game violates Candyland's rights.

Is it a Yiddish/frum game or will everyone enjoy it's good clean fun?

It's not yiddish but definitely frum. Like the words include things like cholent, don't remember what else, the ads definitely were culturally frum.

Do you have to know anything about the Kichels to enjoy it?

Does anyone know if there's a legal issue with it? It's literally an exact copy of cards against humanity. Even the promotional ads are the dame.

The only different is the kichels is frum words and clean.

CAH isn't exactly a unique concept.

By the way Cards Against Humanity can be downloaded for free from their website. I wonder if they would even care if their idea was used to produce something similar.

So if you want info on the game-
It’s a twist on CAH but has some variations so its not a copy of the game and the content is entirely different.
Its available in many Judaica and Toy Stores and the ad mentions its also available online at mitzvahfamily.com.
Almost sure Toys4U has nothing to do with it besides placing it in their chanukah catalogue.
It’s a fun adult game with hilarious cards and you dont have to know the Kichels to play it.

why is it ok to post questions and reviews about jewish games on such a public forum?
its just asking for some loshon hora or a bad review or comments.

It gets me so upset when I see this.

You could be putting people off buying these things when you comment.

Please be careful what you post.

Or better yet, be careful what you start a thread about!!
why are there no rules on this site about this?

Iv left countless whatsapp groups cos of this . People put up a simple statement, such as 'which shop has the cheapest shoes?' or 'thinking of ordering from this store, what are customer service like?'
you could be ruining someone elses parnassa.

So the price won’t be going up? I’m not going in the stores this week.

Anyone played the game yet?
I tried to play today and was disappointed that the answer cards didn’t all flow with the Main card.
I played relative insanity a couple times ( loved it) and all the cards worked well in a sentence..
Anyone else ?

Oh wow, I had no idea about this game. I have CAH and had to throw out so many of the inappropriate ones, this will be great. Anyone know if Toys2Discover has it, I'll be there tomorrow anyway.

Worked well for me cuz there was at least one good answer in my deck of cards, maybe deal more cards to each player if you’re having a hard time?

All these games work as follows:
Each player gets a certain amount of response/answer cards.
One person draws and reads a question card....or beginning of sentence...
Each player needs to sift through their pile of answer cards for the most appropriate/ funny ending to the original card.
The master then chooses which one is the funniest by reviewing all of them out loud.
Lots of laughs etc...
