We had a new front door installed a few weeks ago and about a day after the door started having a very strong chemical smell. Then about a week later I noticed that same heavy smell in my basement in the room under then door. It has since gravitates up to my room. All in the front of the house. It’s not going away though the door is less then it was. Who do I even call to check it out? I’m getting worried.

Call the utility company first, your gas company.
