Confusing thread titles

Is it acceptable to change the thread title and OP after 2 pages of replies to a different thread title and OP? Talking about “Kosher Videos”...
ETA I see that thread was removed already. Never mind!

Yes, if a thread title is problematic for any reason, it's not only acceptable but a public service to change it.

Like talking to your children about an upcoming pregnancy. That got me scared that we were normalizing telling our kids before TTC

Guess you didn’t follow that thread. The thread title and OP was originally about how to best spank kids (belt or wooden spoon, etc.) After two pages of replies (and that ridiculous thread being reported) the OP quickly changed the title to “kosher videos” and asked in the OP ”Any suggestions for fun videos? ”
It was weird and confusing but it only lasted a few minutes before it was removed so it was fine.
