I was uncomfortable with her eagerness to defend the Muslim community. Yes their culture is into hospitality (serving guests nicely), but that doesn't contradict the idea that the women may be suppressed, or include extremists who want to kill us. Hopefully we do things under the guidelines of the Torah so we can believe what we're doing is right and not worry that we may be compared to other religions.

But I'll repeat, Malky is great and a baalas chesed - I witnessed her being very helpful to one of my friend.

I felt the same. I had one or two moments where I really cringed. The namaste shtick wasn't up my alley either. And some neutral references to relations were still weird for me.

But it was good enough.
