Comparing schools in different areas are these similar for the most part? We're rw MO... all our friends send to YCQ and we would as well if we could afford a house in Queens..

Where are you looking to live? If you are looking Bergenfield, then YNJ might be a good fit. If you are looking Highland Park, then RPRY is where to look.

FYI, my friend lives in West Hempstead and sends to YCQ- if you want a more affordable house but don’t want to move to Jersey.

We have kids at RPRY.

I'm happy to answer any questions.

(I've never had kids in the early childhood program. Only starting at kindergarten)

RYNJ is a great school. Whether it's a good match for you, I don't know. When it's possible, spend a shabbos in Bergenfield (a little further right than most of Teaneck) and see if it's for you.

Maybe add JEC to your list if you'll consider Hillside or Springfield.

If you end up moving to the Teaneck/Bergenfield area, RYNJ is pretty much the go-to place for rwmo families. Personally, I am a very happy RYNJ parent.

It might be more helpful if you asked specific questions. As unless someone moved from one area to another, or maybe they have children in one school and nieces and nephews in another, it is unlikely for a person to have the knowledge to be able to compare the schools. I can tell you all about the schools my children went to, and even the others in the area, as I did research on them, but I don’t know schools from different neighborhoods.
(Btw, my kids went to Noam, so I’m not so helpful anyway.)
