Either one. I can either prepare in advance or make something quickly when I get home. But my kids dont like mac and cheese... so looking for some more ideas.

personal favorite

saute onions and garlic on frying pan
throw in a package of ground beef
mash the beef as it cooks so that it gets crumbly
add ketchup, cumin, sugar black pepper n bit of salt.

leave it cooking max 20 min or it will get too dry

little prep/little cooking time

I just put them in a pan and shmear either French or Russian dressing over them, then bake uncovered at 425. They are ready pretty quickly.

This reminds me, tacos. My kids love them. You fry a can of baked beans with chopped meat. You can add onions, but my kids don't really go for that. I think I may have also added ketchup a time or two. Serve with taco shells and desired sliced vegetables, like pepper strips or lettuce. Everyone assembles their tacos as desired.

Chicken bottoms or meat in crock pot. Can add potatoes or use the sauce of the chicken to cook ferfel or rice.
(Spices: paprika & Garlic powder. Salt for side dish)

Hands down falafel is easiest.

Chicken over rice.
Hamburgers
Meat bolognese
Grilled chicken salad
Salmon and baked potato
Ground beef and rice so simple and so good.
Tacos

I don't use onions at all. And I substitute the sugar for honey.

Do you make your own falafel? Or use frozen balls? Do you have a good easy recipe?

Healthy and quick:
One Pot Curried Chicken Dinner

Slice potatoes. Put on bottom of pot.
Season with salt and curry powder.
Add skinless drumsticks. Season with salt and curry powder.
Add 2-3 garlic cloves + chopped onion (I buy pre-chopped from grocery).
Add some water.

Leave on low flame for an hour or until potatoes are cooked through.

It's warm and savoury. Super healthy.
