Since I tested positive a couple of weeks ago, I am super congested & can’t breathe through my nose like before
I sneeze a lot & blow a lot.
What’s concerning to me is the bright bloody tissues that I get after blowing.
Is this cause for concern?
I’d say 6/10 times I’m blowing my nose,
The tissues are bright red.
Did anyone else have this???

The blood vessels in your nose are very sensitive. It makes sense that they burst when irritated. It’s also winter, so they are dry and extra sensitive

If your sneezing and blowing more than usual, it makes sense that everything inside your nose is getting irritated. Try steaming

They might have punctured a vessel when taking the test. It unfortunately happened to many people.

I also just tested positive for corona and have bright bloody nose for a few days already. Only difference is that I’m not really congested, but the few times a day I do blow my nose, it is bright red blood.

Whenever I have sinus congestion/irritation, especially some level of sinus infection, there are varying levels of pink/red. I wouldn't think it's specifically COVID related. Between having an upper respiratory affected virus (ie getting congested from COVID--like any other virus that affects things there), any secondary infections as a result, any other infections from any other viruses floating around (there isn't just COVID), and if you're somewhere it's winter--dry, cold air....it's just a recipe for that irritation.
saline spray, sleeping with a humidifier, decongestants/antihistamines, and potentially antibiotics if you think it's a sinus infection. (obviously AYLMP (ask your local medical professional) about what meds are appropriate for you.)
