I like the idea of making either choclate cupcakes or the big soft chocolate cookies and decorating them with licorice (both red and chocolate) and choclate chips to look like doggie faces. I also think chocolate milk woud be great, although I don't know why. You could also package some obvious nosh (like pretzles) with labels Nomad family doggie kibble.
They do sell baking pans shaped like bones for people who want to make their own doggie treats, but this idea grosses me out.
