Someone described them as similar to a deep fried Egg Roll Wrapper, which was inserted into the center of the scoop of chopped liver.
It was a large bumpy cracker, slightly smaller than the size of the palm of ones hand. It tasted good and looked very elegant, standing upright.

It's fried Wonton wrappers that get bumpy from the deep frying.
