Hi, we are hoping to make Aliyah to RBS this summer iyH, and one of our children will be graduating elementary school and entering mechina. Obviously we are looking for an American style mechina that caters to sons of olim, so English speaking is a need.
Please read this description of my son and tell me any yeshivos you think make sense for us to look into:
Oot yeshivish
Well read, watches some movies ( only very clean, with parental supervision), and follows sports
Completed a mesechta outside of school mesechtos - intelligent, motivated learner
Kind and gentle, not a chevra-man
Sometimes misreads social cues, so not popular, but nothing off-putting, has a few friends in school
Some learning disabilities in areas of fine motor (handwriting) and OT type stuff
