For people who work full time 5 or more days a week, how long is your commute to work round trip every day? Or how much was your commute before covid? Do you drive or take public transportation?

30--35 minutes driving each way, so an hour in total. Public transportation would probably take 2 hours, plus I'd have to walk, so it would end up closer to 3 hrs (or 6 roundtrip).
The best part of working remotely (for now) is no commute.

I listen to Ben Shapiro at work...as long as you don't mind politics it's an hour long. My actual commute is between 12-16 minutes, depends on how early I leave. I listen to the classical radio station.

My commute is less than an hour both ways but there are days when finding parking can add a half hour

The commute would only be 15 min. expecpt I drive my kids to and from school so that adds on 15-30 min depending on traffic.

5 min walk from my house to my office. Now it's a 15 second walk from my bedroom to my dining room table.

My work office is a 2 minute walk from my house (just down the block).
I know I’m lucky, but sometimes I wish that my walk would be just a bit longer, like a 7-10 minute walk, so that I have a chance to unwind.
I feel that I jump from the breakfast/get the kids to school rush right into work, and then jump from my busy work life right back to the after school/supper/homwork chaos. No chance to just chill and reframe on either end.
But really, I know I’m lucky that I don’t waste any time traveling, and if there’s ch”v an emergency I can be home in no time.

Used to be an hour in the morning and an hour and a half back home. Now zero because I work from the dining room table.
I used to daven in the morning and listen to podcasts on the way back. Didn’t mind the commute except when it was really cold.
My job situation had much worse problems than the commute. Then it got a little better with working from home but not much better.

An hour each way with the subway. If I drive it would be 25 minutes ....but I would spend an hour looking for parking (no exaggeration) or there wouldn’t be parking at all so I don’t drive.
I don’t mind it .

20 minutes drive there and 40 minutes drive home. The subway was more than an hour each way.

My commute is very long. It is 2 hrs or more (depending on whether the bus is late.
Now, I am remote.

5 minute drive or 10-15 min walk. Usually DH drops me off in the morning and I walk home after work. Its a great compromise.
