Im 56 and 100 pounds over weight. I dress well and nobody ever believes I am morbidly obese- I know how to dress for my body.

Look, I AM fat.

My best friend was 10 years older than me and also 100 pounds overweight.

Her body started shutting down in June 2020
Within a week she died of complete organ failure- first her kidneys stopped working, rapid decline and death.

I found out as I was going to a doctors well visit where---
Guess what?
I found out I have type two diabetes- directly related to being fat.

I had the audacity to snap at my doctor and say "I've been this weight for over 20 years and my numbers have always been fine!!"

She explained that being obese for years and years takes its toll on the body. That is why my best friend died.

I don't want to die I need to lose weight.
Ive been doing intermittent fasting and eating better and my numbers came down dramatically.

Now my food is a mess again.
I'm an emotional eater and everything that's happening on the news is making me EAT.

I need to get to a healthier body weight if I want to be at my daughters wedding and my sons graduation.

Being FAT is a life threatening condition.
And I have amazing stamina- I can bike for miles and walk forever my issue is FOOD

Exactly. It’s good to see images of people who are overweight or obese still being active. We actually don’t see that so often.
