Leveld children book NY/NJ area

I'm looking for non jewish books on a second grade level the ones that come leveled. Although my local jewish library is very nice, I'm having a hard time finding jewish book that my daughter enjoys reading, and educational enough to improve her reading skills. Public library is a pain because I have to worry about late fees. And I accumulate fines. Which defeats the purpose. I own a few Amelia Bedilia. Frog and Toad. Henry and Mudge...those are getting boring already because of corona dc fell more behind. I checked my local thrift store books are $1 and $2 butter never have any such books when I'm there. Alot of books related to non jewish holidays. If anyone has any other ideas of how to get or buy free or practical free books or any other ideas please let me know. The cheaper the better because I realy can't afford.... Thank you
