Please provide proof of this accusation. Considering how many Rabbis I've seen interviewed it seems ridiculous. But maybe you're right. Surely you have proof of the "many rabbonim."

This is such lashon hora and really not important information to add to this discussion.
I don't recall any Rabbanim being against it, there's nothing wrong with the Ami that needs to be assur'd.

Only 500 copies were supposed to have prizes. I’m not sure why everyone is surprised that they weren’t from the lucky winners.

AMI has its issues, but the constant bashing on this site is childish.

If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Move on.

True story: My dh came home from kollel with a pamphlet from someone about the evils of Mishpacha and how it's all one big plot to stop people from learning and get everyone to go to work. Who has the time or interest to create conspiracies like that? I would bet $$$ that a competitor or somebody with a grudge was behind it.
