For people who have pierced their babies ears... do you take the earrings out at night once they are healed? Or do they wear them 24/7?

24/7
DD is 4. She got earrings at 6 months old. I have only taken them out to switch to different earrings twice. She wears them constantly.

No.if you take them out for babies, they can still close. It takes months to heal.
I imagine a real squirmy baby, having to put on earrings daily.

Never took them out , unless it was to change to a different earring.

Gold hoops are always the best. They stay cleaner, and are way less likely to get infected than posts. There's no flat areas to trap moisture and bacteria. It's important that air can circulate all around the piercing, and that the hoops get turned every now and then to keep everything clean.
