Looking to move to a community in Lakewood, Jackson or Tom’s river that has an out of town feel with a mix of ages and a mix of working/ learning. I am looking for a descent size house, not a starter home. Also a Rav is important to us. Any ideas?

Not really out of town feeling in any of those places for the last 10 years or so. Like you, so many others have moved here. It can still be nice and it’s different than ny but it’s not out of town.
Describe more what you are looking for in a neighborhood.

Rabbi irons shul on central ave or rabbi Halpern on valley or sunset/New England village. But not too many houses to choose from unless you buy an old one and build

My real estate agent was thinking hampshire hills, but I think that is too young for us since my daughter will be 11. What is Harmony farms like or ocean point across the road from it? We would like a warm welcoming crowd.

Oakley hills is across the street from harmony farms
