I have an average quality popular shaitel, lies about 2-3 inches past my shoulder. It dries pretty straight. I have it styled with a little curl to it. I find that after a short time it starts getting puffy. I've tried Moroccan oil and Biosilk silk therapy but it doesn't help much. Any ideas?

Some wigs are just not naturally straight so they will puff up with time. Maybe try styling them not so straight so that can help.
I once heard that Combing it before you take it off and put it on the head can also make a difference.
