Is there an extended release melatonin that is kosher and chewable or gummies?

From a pharmaceutical point of view, if it's chewable it can't be extended release. Extended release tablets work with layers dissolving at different point in digestive tract, so the drug is released slowly as it moves through the body. Chewing would defeat the purpose.

That used to be true, but now they can coat the micro particles and there are extended release chewable of different medications.
(I just learned this really recently, after buying extended release chewable heartburn meds and looking into it).

Costco has I think is an extended release version. But not sure if kosher certified. But it has no milk, egg, shellfish, nuts, flavors...etc added to it. Brand is Natrol.
