iy"H, my child is getting engaged. We live in an oot community. Anyone ever make a vort with social distancing, masks., etc at home? Any ideas of how to make it nice but legal as well. Technically, big crowds are not allowed. Weather is not conducive for outdoor vort even with a tent. Food ideas welcome!

Send robo calls out, inviting people from a-f one half hour etc. Have food in individual portions vs. salads or cakes that people cut. Grab and go might be ok too. Have masks and sanitizers available.
Mazel tov!!!
ETA: Yes, lechatchila I'd do a drive through unless you have a lot of space in your house (and then maybe even if).

Mazel Tov!!
I've seen people do a drive-through with pretty food boxes - they get to say Mazel Tov, and some goodies to take home.

We have people doing tents with heaters. A drive through can work nicely too.
