Thinking of renting villa in Orlando. Have never had someone kasher a kitchen for me, but if I am going away don't want to have to worry about that. Getting to my point : ) when someone kashers it for you, does that include covering the counters and tables or is it just the oven and sink and refrigerator?

How do you vet this person to find out whether he knows the halacha fully and is a yarei shamayim? It's not like a kashrus agency that trains the mashgichim. How does it work?

Schedule kashering when you already arrived . Watch them do it .
I think the fee includes basics , and it’s extra for tables and counters .
From what I Rem last, they kashered the countertops for us & we covered the tables

don't think they cover for you only kasher
my husband is probably going to kasher it on his own
we haven't decided yet/spoke to our rav about kashering it

I don't think covering is included in the standard package. For the right price you could probably get them to do it, but make sure to confirm it in advance because they probably schedule their days and book up their timeslots early.
