My walls and paint are getting damaged from the doors opening into them. What can I do to protect them?

Ours is heavy duty plastic. Works wonders. We put them up 4 years ago and thankfully they are still up.

Something like this https://www.amazon.com/JD-Jack.....P6H75 is a little less obtrusive, it goes by the floor and keeps the door handle away from the wall. It can be mounted on the door or your baseboard/wall. Look around for a finish that matches your door hardware.
