I'm making supper for a family this week. They requested pareve or dairy. What is a kid friendly fish that I can make? All ages. 2-18.

Fried cod or another whitefish. My kids like it served with mashed potatoes and corn kernels.

Any breaded white fish fillet works well. Give some dipping sauces.

Is it like frying schnitzel, do you dip the fish in egg then breadcrumbs and fry?

Like others have said, anything breaded is usually a hit. We also like tuna/salmon patties, tuna pasta salad, baked or fried gefilte fish slices, bagels + lox, deli-style tuna sandwiches/subs (put tuna through food processor with celery and carrots), etc.

Flour, egg, then crumb (bread or corn). Can also bake for 15-20 min at 425, just spray tops with oil

Tuna patties
Regular baked salmon.
Bread gefilte fish.
Fried cod.
Tilapia is hit or miss. It tastes like metal to me.
You can do fish for the adults and falafel for the kids.

I'd probably text the mom and ask if they eat salmon. Salmon is the only protein that everyone in my family will eat and enjoy. But it's an expensive meal if it won't be eaten.

Fish balls cooked in tomato sauce like meatballs can be a big hit for kids.

I know my kids wouldn’t touch most things listed here. I personally would appreciate salmon for adults/bigger kids and fish sticks for the littles.

All my kids eat salmon. But you can also do fish tacos with already breaded fillets from freezer section.

Either breaded flounder or simple baked salmon. Input paprika, garlic powder, salt, lemon juice and olive oil.
