Why do people change
Friends become aliens
Say things they wouldn't have said
Do things they wouldn't have done
I'm confused
And as a friend
I must step back
Its not my place
To mix in
To say what I want to say
Shes married now
And so am I
But she changed
And I don't recognize her
Why did this happen
It's only two years
Does it mean it will worsen
It bothers me so much
Such a close friend
And I feel distanced when we talk
About certain things
It disgusts me but
I cant say a word
So I keep my pasted smile
And focus on her good
Only on her good

Yep! I'm coming from there, and I know how that feels . Ughhhh , and hugs . It's tough! I lost my very best friend after we both got married. It stinks . I'm still in pain!

Oh yeah. So fresh. You can still taste those soul-deep DMCs under the stars, gazing into each other’s eyes. I’m sorry. It happens. Life changes people. We’re all like puzzle pieces and as we grow and change sometimes certain relationships no longer fit. As time passes you will learn that that’s okay. That that’s how it’s meant to be. It still hurts though, I know.
