My 2-year-old has a nasty cold that has caused her nose to run constantly. She keeps brushing the discharge away, making it go all over her face. As a result, not only is her nose all raw, but her cheeks and the area all around her nose are all red.

Other than moisturizing, is there anything else I can do to help it heal/prevent it from getting worse?

It's good for the face? I happen to have Aquaphor and not Vaseline at home.

Put vaseline (or whatever moisturizer is best) after she's sleeping so it can "soak" all night

They’re these moisturizing saline wipes that have different scents. The one I linked is unscented, but the scented ones smell so good

Only Vaseline will fix this
Don’t try any other lotions. They will irritate the skin more.

Absolutely! It's vasaline with a few more things in it too. I put it on little cheeks every night at bedtime. In your case, sneak in during the night and reapply. If her lips are chapped, put it there too.
