We're designing a new walk in closet for the master bedroom.
I've been looking online but would love to hear first hand of cool hacks or storage ideas, speciality drawers etc

Look at a lot of galleries and Instagram accounts from various closet places..

Etc
Really you’ll get your best advice from the person who’s measuring your space doing the job. They’ll know what they can fit, and how to prioritize.
I just did mine, thought my closet was huuuge and I could put all these interesting features. Turns out my space wasn’t big enough for everything I wanted, and to be functional, I have a pretty basic closet, hanging, double hanging, doors, bench with mirror, and a hamper.
