On the thread about Purim poems, someone gave some examples of bad and adequate poems, using three random food items -- licorice, mashed potato flakes, and double stuff Oreos. I was amused.

Your challenge -- write a Purim poems to accompany the three random food items in the post above yours.

I'll start, with the three items from the other thread:

We hope you won't find it rude
To hear the tale within our food.
See if you can guess which item
Tells this tale before you bite 'em.
King got drunk, while feeling _____
Sent for Vashti to come quicker-ish.
Booted her, brought in a rookie
Esther, sweeter than a ________.
Then came Haman, our world was shaky
Would we live? That king was ______
Baruch Hashem, that unseen Hand
That changes all, made the end grand.
Please read and smile, don't throw tomatoes

So now it's Purim; we all eat nosh.
Esther beat him, it was a piece of ____,
So our graggers we now do shake.
Let our days be filled with joy and laughter,

I would think licorice for the horse's lasso. Oreos for the wagon's wheels & flakes for the potato peels snowing on Haman's head

These items are random as can be
But eaten together, they are quite tasty!
First take a bite of kugel,
Wash it down with the can of coke
Enjoy the flavors of jelly beans
With your wonderful folks!

Next three foods:
Grape juice
Can of beans
Apple sauce
Smile

Potato flakes for the Potato, oreo cookies for the eyes & long red licorice to form a mouth into a smiley face
