Why would someone use gorilla glue for hairspray?

I have been reading about the lady who used gorilla glue in her hair and couldn't get it out. She tried the emergency room and they couldn't get it out. A GoFundMe campaign raised over $13K which will be used to fly her to a dermatologist who will try to remove it. One article claims that she is suing the makers of gorilla glue, although the company insists that there is nothing about the product that suggests using it for hair spray.
I think that it was a really bad idea to use it for hair spray and I don't think that she will win the lawsuit.

In a few years from now if you see a warning on the gorilla glue "not intended to use on hair" you wouldn't wonder why...

She apparently got it confused with a hair spray called Gorilla Snot Gel. At least that's what some people were speculating.

I just Googled "Gorilla Snot Hairspray" and got ads for Gorilla Spray Adhesive (in addition to Moco de Gorila gel). There does not seem to be a Moco de Gorila hairspray.

She said the bottle didn’t have sufficient warnings.

It says on the bottle “not for use on skin”. Is hair not skin?
This news item baffled me I literally can’t understand people. It’s the same reason that microwaves say not for animals. And hair dryers say do not use in the shower.

Sorry, I mean the Gorilla Snot Gel. It's supposedly a popular competitor to the product she ran out of in the first place, Got2Be Glued. This is all speculation of course.

According to some on social media she did it for attention and clout and she didn't stay in the emergency room because it was taking "too long". She is now official and verified on twitter and instagram and has a manager.
It wont be the first dumb thing done for attention. Remember the hoax about the hot air balloon with boy inside? She probably knew very well what she was doing.

My favorite warning is a typo. On a box of knives, it says "Caution: Sharp knives. Keep out of children."

If it was for attention, it was a bad idea. They couldn't even cut her hair off, it had hardened so badly. And its still stuck in the hair closest to her head, and on her scalp. She may need skin grafts, from what I read.

That said, yes, you have to be a special kind of stupid to use gorilla glue on your hair.
