Hi,
We are considering moving to Toms River. We are sephardic and would ideally like to be near a Sephardy shul/community. Does anyone know where the sephardic shuls are or what areas I should look at?

Hi,
Rabbi Beyda from Brooklyn is there and he is starting a Sephardic minyan..
There are a few Sephardic families already there but very spread out. However, most are a 15-20 minutes walking distance to where he is doing the minyan.

I live near Rav Beyda and my husband has gone to his minyan when it's been available. There are more sephardic families moving into the neighborhood.

Just FYI, both of those places are super expensive. Think 700K for a 3 bedroom in only decent condition.

wow following!!!! got married last year and were super unhappy where we live bc there are no sefardim. my dh mentioned toms river bc he heard theres a new kehilla moving in
is it the type for a young couple or its more for families with kids?
does anyone know if they have people that would host a couple to try out the community for a shabbat?

It is a mixed crowd. We happen to have a few young kids. This is the street that the shul is on.
