I made a silly mistake and now I am trying to fix it. In short, my daughter is dressing up as ‘fire’ for Purim. Instead of making her a tricoloured tutu, I bought her a yellow tutu and extra tulle in red and orange to add to it. Problem is that the yellow tutu is not a ‘no sew’ tutu.
So my question is- what is my best option?
1- make her a sparse ‘no sew’ tutu out of orange and red tulle to wear over her yellow tutu?
Or
2- glue gun (I am not sewing!) the red and orange tulle strips to the top of the yellow tutu?

Any other ideas?
This is what I was aiming for:

I do not know anything about sewing, but I think hot glue should work for a purim costume. You can try it out on a little scrap piece first.

I just made a no sew tutu foe my daughter for purim. It was very simple and took me like half hour altogether. I would make one in the right colors and return the yellow tutu you have...

The picture looks layered with yellow underneath anyways, so yes it seems to make sense to me to just make another orange and red tutu to wear over, and to spread the tulle around so you still see the yellow underneath.

Glue gun should be fine.

Please let us know how it turned out!
