Both are lovely; I just wouldn't used both for the same person because that would be one loooong moniker even without a surname.

I love both. I know more Elisheva’s so I’d probably go with Avigayil for something more unique.

This. You have to look at the baby after they're both to see what/if the name fits.

I like both names but I prefer Elisheva.
I find Avigail a bit of a mouthful.
Something about the sequence of the second and third syllables seems awkward to me. I do like the English pronunciation though. Abigail does away with that awkwardness somehow.

Interesting. I know far more Avigayils. Elisheva was more common here a few generations ago and now it has a retro vibe.
