As Purim’s on Friday we thought we’d help you
To cross off a line on the list you must do
So we looked for an item for your shabbos meal
What we found comes in silver, plastic or steel

We’re not dressed as food as you can clearly see
Yet at every meal we will surely be
Fork, knife, and spoon, a combination or all three
To have at a seuda we come in handy

But in the spirit of Purim and V'nahafoch Hu
Look at the Mishloach Manos that we give to you
Notice all the foods are not of the kind
Used by the utensils you also will find

So save the fork and the knife and the spoon
We’re sure you’ll find another use for them soon
Enjoy the treats or give them to a friend
If we made you smile then we’ve achieved our end

Now we must go as we have lots to do
Shalach Manos, a Seuda, and preparing shabbos too
A busy time-yes, but oh so much fun
And a Freilichen Purim to everyone!
