We use Malvasia. It's not a solid red, but it's red colored, and nice and light.

Rashi wine has 5.5% alcohol. You can even do a little more than half wine and the rest grape juice (this is what my hatzalah director husband does so that he is sober enough to drive in case of a call).
1 bottle is usually enough for 3 kosos

I believe concord kal has he lowest at 3 point something percent and Matuk kal has 4 point something percent. Matuk kal tastes more like wine than concord kal which tastes more like spiked grape juice

My family likes the Rashi wines best of the low alcohol, non-mevushal wines. Malvasia and Joyvin are very nice easy to drink wines if you are ok with mevushal for the Seder
