How long did you lose your sense of taste/smell for?

feel a general cold and achiness all week and finally lost my sense of smell on Thursday and taste on Friday. how long did this last for you?

The loss of smell and taste lasted a week.
I felt sick for two weeks and felt fatigued easily and often out of breathe after minor activity for about 4-8 weeks.

I had a cold for a week first, lost my sense of smell and taste on a Tuesday, taste was back by Thursday, smell was back by Sunday

2 months to be able to smell a little.
4 months to be able to smell something without intentionally sniffing it.
9 months to get back to 100%

around 20 -25 days over the whole of Pesach last year (cant belive its a year already). Took time till it came back completely.

Same here. It was gone for about two weeks and it’s been two and half months and it’s gone again for the second time

Took my SIL 8-9 months. She still hates her “new” taste of coke, and coffee smells different. Otherwise, it’s back to normal.

13 days until fully back to myself but only 3 days were bad.

Was under the weather for about 3 days. lost sense if smell for a day and never lost taste.

I just lost my sense of smell last motzei Shabbos. No other symptoms. Of course tested positive. And 3 of my kids.

By Wednesday I had a drop of smell back.
By Thursday back to normal bh.

Was weak for a day or two, but lost smell and taste right a day after symptoms started. It’s been 10 weeks since and I can only taste maybe 10% of the foods I eat. My smell is pretty good when I intentionally sniff, and only 25% working when there’s a passing whiff.

Lost my smell in March came back after 2 weeks but most things were distorted then lost it again in June came back 2 weeks after, some foods tasted worse after that then over the year some foods turned normal again and finally 1 year coming up coke and peppers final thing on my list that finally taste normal again!! So one year till everything back to normal

It's gonna be 10 months of no smell!
In regards to taste I don't have it fully back yet can't tell which spices I'm eating and such.. Pretty much changed my taste in every way possible!

I read this therapy to sniff on 4 different oils to regain smell:
Clove oil, lemon oil, eucalytus oil, and one more. Not sure if it helps, but can't hurt to try

It's been a year. I can barely smell anything unless it is really strong, like window cleaner.

I have about 80% of my taste back, but I still don't like the way curry tastes, and that used to be one of my favorite flavors. It tastes burnt and bitter now. Other flavors seem dull and less complex. I'm a real foodie and love to cook, so it's been pretty depressing.
