From last pesach, I have a box of machine matzah, cake meal, ground walnuts, almond flour and shredded coconut. All closed packages.
Anyone know the shelf life of these? None of them have "best by" dates on them.
Do I use or dump?
Thanks

Use it, it's all dry stuff it should be good...unless it smells or is visibly off.

Were your flour nuts & coconut in freezer or cabinet? Are you talking about from last year pesach?
Anyhow I would dump.
Closed bottle oil maybe can be good but these things like matzah, nuts can get bugs

Nuts go rancid. But I think everything else could be ok.

Thanks guys, I think I'll just dump it all, don't want to take a chance. I hear bugs, I panic...I thought I'd use it during the year lol, didn't happen.

Nuts are fine if they were stored in the freezer

Any Matza product in a sealed package is probably good.

If the nuts were sealed, there shouldn't be a big issue, just taste them and see.

I do a good chunk of my shopping for next Pesach at the big grocery stores, who put everything on sale right after the sedarim. I have a shelf in my basement freezer set aside.

(Only because all my kids are using all my extra kitchens, of course)

I just opened my last package of machine matza from last year's sale, to use before Rosh Chodesh. It's not stale.

The matzah meal and cake meal could be rancid too.

OP: open and smell each one. You’ll know if you should dump

Houston, we have a problem.... My smell is off since Corona (last year), and Dh is clueless about how everything but the matzah should smell like:lol
