Thanks for the replies they were helpful in addition can they Braun be used as a stand mixer ? Also I shred a lot of cabbage would that work ?

Hi I have a question about food processors in general do any of them have the possibility of becoming a stand mixer ? Like if a separate bowl would be included ? Does such an item exist ?

The Braun combimax food processor has an attachment for whipping eggs and a dough hook attachment for a very small dough. Not for challah.
The Kitchenaid stand mixer has a food processer attachment that costs as much as a food processer. I believe the stand mixer can manage half a challah dough.
The Bosch universal mixer (for 5 lb challah dough) also has a separate food processor attachment that can be bought. It also has a spot for a standard blender jar to attach.

Thanks for replies. Don’t want to spend so much on a Bosch just a standard food processor that would have both the kugel blade as well as a stand mixer is Braun the only option ? Does Hamilton beach or sunbeam make one ?

I have the Hamilton beach all year round. Not as good as Braun, but definitely good for pesach and for the amount it cost.

My Hamilton Beach has 2 shredding blades, one regular, one fine. Is the fine close to a kugel blade?
