hi,
my husband is going to ikea to buy a bed for one of our kids. we rarely shop there so what to take advantage and buy anything else that's good to buy there.
so far I have
1. a drawer for under the bed that we will put a lock on for an older child
2. the spice racks
3. a tray
4. bath mat
5. tumblers for kids. really would prefer if they were only one color but oh well
6. wooden train set
7. magazine files
8. cork trivets
9. kids hangers
anything else that people would recommend?
Thanks!

I go through the website and put a short description and the number into Google keep. I know what I need or want.
Just go through each category. What do you need for Pesach?
Do you need anything in the guest room?
Towels?
Big napkins?
Toys or kids craft supplies?
Freeze pop thingies.
Do you need any light fixtures?
Folding chairs?

Small thing, but I love getting tea lights there for shabbat - it's $3.99 for 100.

We like the tea lights too, and the candles, we stock up on both every time we go.
Many people get ziplock bags from IKEA, they're very strong
If you need something for laundry, they sell a range called jonaxel, its mesh draws in a frame in different size combinations, I use it for my laundry, its great because everyone can put their laundry into the correct draw saving me time on sorting, and because its draws, it also saves space.

You can check online if something is in stock before you go out to buy it.
I want to get a set of big bowls that nest inside each other for pesach from there. They're so cheap and look perfect but I'm not ordering only that because delivery is way way more than the bowls lol. Our IKEA stores are all closed now due to lockdown 🙄

Can you post a link to the bolded under bed drawer?
I love their fold in grill pan, bath mats, and narrow Alex drawers. They take up almost no space and keep things Uber organized (love the many mini drawers).

I Googled the Ikea Jonaxel and it seems like I can set up a full customized laundry room storage system. I'm not that good at figuring things out on the computer. Do they have people in the store who can help figure out what customizations I need, if I bring my measurements with me?

I bought a big soup pot at Ikea, and just love it. not very expensive and great quality. also, the paper napkins are so pretty and great for Shabbos (nice and big). Tealights, as somone else mentioned. I also have the velvet throw pillow covers on my couches (which are also from Ikea!). I also like the duvet fillers--you can get one according to how warm you want to be be. sheet sets, especially the pretty grey and white design. Gotta love Ikea!!
