Is the name Meir a name related to Adar? Any nice ideas on this name?

In Adar we should be be simche and light brings simche.

Sure it’s related to Adar! It means shine and illuminate and the whole story of Purim is hidden. Its such a gorgeous name.
I personally love Meir simcha (the Ohr Someach).
But it does go with just about anything or work as a stand-alone .
It’s my first choice when we’re done using immediate family and husbands roshei yeshiva ... ok we may not get there
