Who can help her now? I made an appointment with a specialist but the earliest appointment is in 2 months.
Has anyone had relief using a chiropractor? If so, which one?
She’s not functioning and is in terrible pain.

A dentist. They can make a night guard for her teeth to prevent her from clenching at night. It really helps.

I suffered from extreme TMJ
Besides for seeing Dr. Wagner I saw Eileen Gurgone for physical therapy - she specializes in this and is amazing. I think she switched practices from when I saw her.
Dr. Wagner is going to give a prescription for physical therapy anyway. Meanwhile your regular doctor can give u the prescription.
Google Eileen and you’ll find her.
I found out about her from Chayala Englard (PT in Lakewood) who had her as a professor in college.
She does excellent work. Really saved me. Hardly have TMJ pain now.
(Also note that it can be intertwined with migraines, as they both sit on the trigeminal nerve) so that has to be ruled out.
Eileen can treat for both.

Two things that helped me - using a 'lap desk on top of my school desk to raise my books so my head was not as bent down, and working on stress relief.

I used doctor Wagner she saved my life love her! Relief now would be Botox shots maybe ocean medi spa does it. Also soft food diet which dr. Wagner insists on when your having a lot of pain or a flair up. she really should not eat hard or chewy food (meat , apples , carrots ) it’s depressing to eat like a baby but if you want her to stop being in pain that is a must. Also she cannot bite her lips it all adds to the pain. Wagner gives ice packs so you ice the jaw and around it and massage. I use warm bc I can’t handle the cold which dr. Wagner says is good to. Also could be worth it to buy one of the cheap night guards from a cvs or Walgreens until she gets to her appointment. And in general with any doctor I will be that annoying patient that calls once a week to check if there are cancellations. You might get lucky! She gave me 2 appliances for night and day , super expensive but worth it to relieve pain… after my jaw got relief I was able to do Invisalign which helped my overbite (does your daughter have this? It’s caused from severe clenching) and now the overbite its almost gone which also caused so much pain in my jaw.

Good luck!

If you want to address root causes see a myofunctional therapist or a craniosacral therapist

What is the best provider? Dentist, PT, chiropractor? What are their approaches?
And if doesnt bother you, is it still an issue?
Does it go away?

I second this. Cranial sacral therapy helped me with tmj and releasing all that tension and trauma that was held there.
