If you had your wig transferred to a new cap, were you satisfied with the result?
What are important questions to ask before getting this done?

Yes and yes. I needed a larger cap. The shaitel macher did not cut the wig before the cap change, and added some hair at temples. She did the work herself and it was a reasonable price.
I would not do this if the Shaitel macher "sends out" the job, or if it was layered or had bangs bc it needs a total recut afterward that you need to pay for.
