Can anyone recommend a Rav to speak to about life decisions etc? Someone who is a baal eitza and does this sort of thing, and who I can trust with big issues.

Rabbi Beck who moved to Monsey from Montreal. I don't know his number though, but I could get it if you need it.

Which Rabbi Beck are you referring to?
