Where do you buy baby's first shoes in Lakewood? I don’t care to pay for style, just want well fitting, sturdy shoes my PT will approve of.

Is your child seeing a PT? Why don't you ask for a recommendation. Babies need different things- some need a lot of support so a sturdy shoe to goes up to the ankle is good. Some kids need extra width or extra narrow. I think the general recommendation for babies first shoes is a soft, flexible sole.
I live OOT so I don't have any good small shoe stores that fit well but I have gone to Nordstrom and been very happy with how they fit babies/kids. Could be my location is just particularly good. They do also have very good return policies.

Ask your PT for a shoe style recommendation. He/she can let you know what your kid needs.
After that find someplace that can fit well.

I was going to say, maybe it's a bit early to worry about shoes if you're still at the ovulation/conception stage

Just wanna warn you as I just finished my kid shoe shopping that this time of year shoe stores are crazy. Long lines everywhere. If you can go at an earlier time, before school ends try to do that

Stores are crazy this time of year but shoe dream is excellent fitting. Ask your PT what kind of shoe she thinks you need- supportive, flexible... And he will help you find a good one. If he doesn't have what he thinks is good he won't sell it to you unless you insist, but he won't tell you it's good because it's the best he's got. I've had that happen and appreciated it a lot!
What kind of concerns does your PT have?
