Hi all! I am looking to get a new toy for my kids for Pesach. Main target is my 3 yr old boy, and then I have a 14 month old boy under him who will try to copy him. Smile The idea is that they should be able to use it on a basic level now, and then grow with it. They love the magna tiles, clicks, blocks, etc. We have a train set, but that doesn't really work now because the 14 month old breaks the tracks....It could be pretend play, or something else that is creative and versatile....

Thanks for your ideas!

I was going to say magna tiles. Do they have play animals and people to go with them?

What about puppets?

Play kitchen is a great toy. Kids pretend to make each other sandwiches. They practice making Shabbos in the kitchen with our kid craft Shabbos kit too.

I agree with the home play sets. Broom set is also popular here. My toddler has been using the broom since she was able to walk (even before that she liked to just push it around), Duplo and trucks and little cars are popular around here and all of those kind of accessories. A barn and animals?

Straws and connectors.

Bought this but didn’t try it yet. Looked like something diff age kids would enjoy.
Flakes: https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....5d281

But your kids may be too young.
My 2.5 yr old is starting to play with clicks
Likes mr potato head, wooden puzzles, large lego (we have a mega blocks foldable table for playing)

Would they be interested in just a new puzzle or two? A simple board game for the 4 year old?
It sounds like they don't actually need new toys to have new toys as much as to have something new to keep them busy, so it shouldn't need to be big. New books? Some sort of trampoline/other active toy?

My 3 year old loves cars, mitzvah kinder, toy food and kitchen set, Lego the medium size. Cars are his favorite though especially together with a toy garage or play mat

Magna tiles came out with cubes now. My 3 and 4 yr old boys love them.
Also nice hard animals. I don't have them but the kids play with them at the neighbors.
Would you get kinetic sand? Yes, it is messy.

My ds3 loves a melissa and Doug puzzle I recently bought on Amazon.

It's a train, with numbered cars. Sturdy, colorful, and age appropriate

Kinetic sand may be chometz - I believe there's flour in it. Like there's a gluten warning.
