My 9 year old niece is usually a mild mannered child, not super difficult or hard to deal with. She had strep twice in the last month. My sister says as of last week she's become impossible, highly emotional, bothering her siblings non stop, picking fights and lashing out. Even her teacher called to mention she's been crying a lot in school! Is it possible she's still fighting strep even if her fever is gone and throat isn't hurting? She's clearly dealing with something, she's totally not herself at all!
