Only Lkwd and surrounding towns

I’m a SM and I I have no idea if I’m priced right.

Option 1 should be 30 and under

My sheitel macher just went up to $50 after years in business. I think beginners price is $35.
The real popular one's charge $65 and up.

I pay $15. I do it myself and then treat myself to a manicure when I'm done 🤣.

Most are between 30-45. I don't use people that are 45 though. I'm not rich like that😜

Between $35-45. Anything more is ridiculously overpriced.

They say a good business person is one that has their customers believe no one else can give them what the need nearly as well.

My sheitel macher is one of those LOL

I pay $35 and includes pick up and drop off
Used to pay $35 in someone’s house.
I think I’d only start with someone 30-35 and if stay with them up to $40. Then I’d leave.

If you are new and just starting out, you can’t charge at the higher end. After 2 years of satisfied customers you can increase by $5.

I pay $40, once it goes above $50 I'm going to look for someone else. Not because I don't value her experience & expertise, just because I can't afford to pay that all the time.

I use someone who works for a higher-end SM during the day, and does sheitels on her own at night. She charges $35. I'm sure people pay more for her services, when she does the same job at her employer.

(started going to her because I liked how she did my sister's wigs. Her husband was my BIL's chavrusa.)

$65 but I only get them every few months. I do my own in the meantime to offset the cost (and the hassle of having to leave it with her)

Mind blown.

Who in Lakewood charges $65?

My 2 weekday wigs get washed about every 2 months and my shabbos 3 times a year. That’s about 15 washes a year. It adds up quickly.

Not if you have one shaitel lol!
I wash around every 3 months but I still wouldn’t pay $65

Bumping this up. I’ve only been quoted $45 and up. Is there anyone cheaper in south Lakewood or Toms River who’s also good? Or is this the new normal price?

Since this thread was started there’s been tremendous inflation. I don’t think you’ll find someone under $45… maybe a young girl just starting out but most are around $50 now 😐
