I'm frying onions, browning the meat, then putting in oven covered with water for about 2.5/3 hours. Do I have to thaw it first? I took them out of freezer last night but still frozen solid. I kept in fridge, probably should be left out but was nervous it'd go bad.

No you can put them in to cook might just take a bit longer.

Great thanks. I'll wait a couple more hours till thawed a little more and then cook.
