A friend told me I can steam kosher for pesach my new quartz kitchen counters.

This is what our rabbi recommended as well. It has to be some sort of special steam cleaner though. I don’t remember all the details, but the shul has one that meets all the requirements available to borrow so I’m just planning to use that.

steam can be problematic as it is not boiling water when it touches the counter. There is a steam machine which shoots boiling water u can hire someone who has it..costs 1500 to buy one

Not everyone holds that you can kasher quartz counters at all — Star-K does not. Ask your LOR.
