This question was in last week's Hamodia, and we did not get this weeks paper so I didn't see the answer.
I have an answer, just wondered if there's a different correct answer.

Because you dont say lehadlik ner shel Shabbos on any other day..only Friday right before shabbos.

Oh lol I thought it was something crazy that can only be said this specific Friday right before Pesach. I didn't realize it was every Friday lol.
