Eh I've always found them old fashioned (the very pointy ones). Slight pointed ones are neither in or out of style, it's just a staple (for those who wear heels)

Right but some things are classics. Take diamond studs, for example. Anyone can wear them, at any time and for any occasion.

Back in the nineties, pointy toes were very, very out of style. Only square toes were worn. Now the nineties are back, and square toes are being shown, but pointy toes are in as well. But pointy toes are not "a classic." Toes styles on shoes go in and out.
