While this is true it’s still the same stores
People in far rockaway shop at and five towns -and far rockaway is a community in and of itself. ( kids from both communities in school
Together, shopping in same stores, going to same camps).

Interestingly, everyone I know that has moved to Passaic moved there from Far Rockaway. Which is obviously not to say that EVERYONE from Passaic hails from FR, but I think does it demonstrate that there is a good amount of overlap in the atmosphere of the 2 communities. Of those that I know, many would have stayed in FR if it was more affordable.
