Can you use it as a slow cooker on shabbos without malacha?

You will need to buy a regular glass pot lid that fits, because Instapot lid causes a sound signal. Also, Instapot slow cooker is not great and not very hot. Cholent needs to fully cooked and hot before you change to slow cook mode (high).

Probably if you use a shabbos timer that will turn it off before its time to open the lid so it doesn’t cause it activate any signals.

I used mine with a metal tin lid on Shabbos, some of the chulent was not completely cooked.
I think the ceramic pot in a crock pot helps cook the food so well.

On my instant pot there is a quiet mode, a way to turn off the sound it makes whenever the lid is opened.
